I have a couple of wild bird feeders in the backyard, one with a suet cake and one with seed/nuts. Yesterday a hummingbird showed up, checked things out and zipped away. First time we've seen one since moving here.

I haven't seen a lot of hummingbirds this year. We've had a few of the green ones and I saw one of the moth hummingbirds earlier in the summer. Usually we have a lot of them and several varieties too.

Remember Blooie? She used to talk about hummers often, some years she'd get a lot and some years not many at all. So maybe next year you'll get a lot?
