That's Festus (the bestest). He's our Akbash livestock guardian (deputy marshal). Just a sweety pie.



Most of them are Finn or Finn crosses. The one front and center is a Romney - Corriedale cross. They are sweethearts. Big beggars, too, and the whole flock will come running if they see you.

My dressing is made, my eggs are deviled, and the Turkey is ready to smoke. I'm already thankful that I've got that out of the way.

I think our neighbor behind us smoked their turkey this year, I could smell it yesterday and early this morning. Smells wonderful!

Some of the kids and grandkids will be here Thursday, some Friday, and some Saturday. We had a little trouble getting our ducks in a row. We should have food to last through Sunday or Monday.
