The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Haven't started. Grand daughter who is attending Berkley is coming with her boyfriend for a 'meet' and cookie bake. She helped last year and really enjoyed the experience.

That should be fun to get your grand daughter and her boyfriend in on the cookie marathon. Might be a good test for the boyfriend. :)

Well I bet your mom likes getting that pumpkin roll in the mail. I should probably do nice things like that for my moms, too. 😆

Thanks for sharing that pumpkin cheesecake recipe. I bet it would disappear if I made one for the gift-exchange.

I make pumpkin bread, it's kind of like banana bread but with pumpkin instead of bananas. This is the Betty Crocker recipe I've used for years:

It's great for breakfast with a smear of cream cheese and a cup of coffee.

P.S. I never include raisins in it because raisins are disgusting. :sick

I like the look of them though lol

That’s good!!! Well, not the wet part LOL

And yeah, I’m picking up my glasses today and then going to my nephew’s birthday party tonight and then going shopping tomorrow. And then next week is the club holiday party lol
Getting new glasses is exciting (well not the 2 week wait part they usually take to make them.) Did you get a new style or just new lenses? It's always fun if your prescription has changed and everything looks so crisp and clear when you put them on.

I'm just assuming they are prescription glasses... I tried contacts but hated poking my eyes out every day and with my prescription (I guess it's considered severe astigmatism) they never seemed to stay in the right spot and drove me nuts. 🤓

They look good Kelsey! And if they help you see better, they are worth taking the time to get used to wearing.
Thanks!!!! Good point!!!!

Op, I love them! I guess that answers my question! They look great!
Thanks!!!! And yeah, I’ve never had them before so they’re everything new lol
