The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

G’morning Sour. How is the Princess? Getting any better?
Slowly. This bug really hangs on. I am on day 12, and she is on day 10.
@sourland

I saw something on Granny's profile about an anniversary. Are you and the Princess celebrating a wedding anniversary today?
Yes, 61 years ago we 'committed' to one another. We had plans that have been postponed until we are better. Interesting that in 61 years this is the first that we have been ill on our anniversary.

Those are pretty good numbers! Too bad it's hanging on so long. I'm glad you have plans to celebrate, albeit later.

I’m glad you’re both on the mend, I’ve heard it’s rough. Speedy recovery to you both.

61 years is definitely celebration worthy, even if it is delayed!

If any of you are thinking of a trip to Hobby Lobby, reconsider!

Our store was so packed it took me almost 45 minutes in line to get checked out, and that was with 3 lanes open.

I guess between Valentine's Day, St. Pat's, Easter and Mother's Day everyone is feeling super crafty.

This has been a public service announcement :lol:

We don't have a Hobby Lobby anywhere close. I like stopping there when I'm on the road, though, because they have the best scrubby-making yarn.

That's crazy yours was so packed, though! What kind of crafts are you up to?

Do you knit and/or crochet? I want to see some of your projects sometime!

I'm going to try (note the word "try") to make one of those chicken wire sun catchers.

Hobby Lobby is like a mousetrap for me. I can go in with a short list and out with a cart full of stuff never planned on. There's a lot of browsing and bargains to do there. I like Michael's too, but it's farther away from my house. Thankfully, they aren't both close to me.
