Hi everyone! Sorry I went awol. We just got back to homebase from a shearing fieldtrip. Pretty much have had full days and early mornings so sorry for not checking in in awhile.

The guys we traveled with seem to like staying up pretty late as well so sometimes we didn't get a hotel/motel until like 10 o'clock at night and with a 5:30 wake-up time, I didn't want to waste any bedtime I had.

We tried to drive our pickup, but it wouldn't start, too cold I guess (I'll plug it in next time, but it had been cold starting fine,) then once we got it to start, it died in our shearing contractor's driveway. We figured it had gelled up, but the mechanic that came and unblocked the driveway said the battery was dead, so I dunno.

Anyways, it was a good handful of days. I'm tired. We have 500 to do tomorrow. Should be fun.

I was sitting on a wool bale during break and this sheep kept going back to this fleece since she was the only one in this pen area thinking it was one of her buddies. Lambs will do this, thinking the fleece is their mamma.

Hi Jen, good to hear from you! Sorry about the truck problems, that doesn't make things easier. How cute is that little lamb in the last picture. Take care of yourself and get some rest (when you can)!

Hi Jen. Awe, look at those babies :love I would want every second of sleep I could get in that situation too! In fact, don’t get in my way when I’m ready to sleep lol.
