The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

G’morning Sue, hope you’re doing good too!
Hi IM, I'm okay I guess
Hi Sue, moving forward is the only thing to do. Have you seen your kids/grandkids lately?
My son's family is pretty regular about checking on me and Trina, likes to Skype with me
Good morning, Sue ☕
How are you?
I'm doing okay, made it past our anniversary on 2/08, so the next challenge will be his birthday in April
Good morning everyone.

Yep, it's March. Nearly 70 yesterday and freezing today.
I'm sitting at 38 degrees today, too cold for me

Just the regular days can be hard, but those milestone dates can be tough. Hang in there Sue and take care of yourself :hugs

These were my MIL’s, DH brought them home, both from 1963 so older than me. She had recipes marked and there are some taped to the inside of the covers. These will go to Hope when she’s older

I have that cookie book! Lots of good snacks came out of that one.

I have that cookbook on the right. It was my mom’s. It is well used.
I guess I shouldn’t be shocked you two have the Cooky Book. I was looking through it and remember making and/or eating many of them when I was a kid.

The bread book has a page from some BYU publication in 1983 about avoiding bread disasters. I will look at it more closely later but there are sandwich ideas in it too.

I always wanted to make that gingerbread house. I never did. I have no desire to do it as an adult.😆
