Thanks, Debby! Yeah, I thought it was cute she was finding all the leftover hay on the hay trailer. It was a nice view to work at and the helpers and owners were really nice.

My sister thought they might be using cattle prods to push the sheep. I never saw them using them and I thought the sheep sat better after the 2nd day, so I'm not sure if that correlated with that or not. Of course I'd rather them not use them, but it doesn't often go over well telling the rancher what to do. They hopefully were just using them as push sticks and not actually turning them on.

It's nice to be here and check in with my own sheep and chickens. We'll be back to work soon enough, weather pending. I'm glad it looks like you and everyone here are well!

Geez, I feel like I just stepped out of a time-warp! Sorry! I can't believe I missed birthdays and the cutest Violet Jane babies, already almost a week ago (sorry, Janie!) and it was nice to catch up on baseball and everyone's baking and kitchen adventures.

Anyways, like I said, I can't believe the time jump. We were at a 1700 head job in Utah. Now this week looks like it's fairly rained out except a few smaller jobs that have barns to keep their sheep dry.

I finally got to go home and see if the weather will cooperate to reschedule some of our jobs we postponed due to pickup issues. We'll see. It's looking fairly mad stormy out there right now here.

I wish I took more pictures of this last job, but it was neat because they were cattlemen mostly and herded their sheep on horseback and with a couple of dogs. Wish I took some video of that.

I had a nice birthday, afterall that baby is the nicest gift I've ever gotten.
Your photo is just gorgeous! I love that ski. I had to look twice I thought the sheep was on the flatbed. 🤣

I had to go back and look, yet again!
The sheep really is on the flatbed.
(I better make an eye doctor's appointment.)
