On the way to and from grandson's college we travel through the Wharton State Forest - part of the Pine Barrens. Last night we drove through a very smokey area. It's another S. Jersey fire - 1,750 acres burned and it is now 50% under control.

Wish I could send you some of this rain we've been getting to help put it out.

Side note here...I started a new book yesterday and it begins with a murder in the Pine Barrens. Not implying anything, but it did make me think of you Sour! :lol:
