They need at least 6 hours of full sun. I put them there because I like to look at them and it has a nice flat surface. I can maybe put them next to the house and still keep them on the porch.

You could make them a "coop" with hardware cloth and maybe hot wire for extra protection.

I could but that probably won’t happen. I do have one planter with chicken wire around it because my cats were munching on the grassy plant in it.

Have you ever grown catnip? My son used to grow it for his cat, and I'm trying to grow it this year for the first time.

We've grown catnip but the cats won't touch it. June likes the dried stuff but not fresh catnip. Boo doesn’t like any catnip at all.

In my house 2 out of 3 like dried catnip, I don't remember them ever being exposed to the fresh stuff. I figure I can always dry whatever I get to grow and they (2 out of 3) will like it well enough.

I am expecting a book delivery so don't think it's a scam. I just think someone else's brain isn't working, probably a case of needs more coffee.
