So nice you had your sister to spend the holiday with you!

We had a simple 4th. DH had to work for a few hours in the morning and then we did some yard work. The cherry tomato plants are starting to really produce and the cucumbers too. We grilled a couple of burgers and had peach crisp for dessert.

You probably didn't need that rain, did you? The last pictures you shared things looked pretty soaked. Our forecast shows we may have a week of rain coming up very soon.

We grilled burgers also.

The low ground is filled up again this morning. The crops are all dead there. The rest of the crops needed it. There is no happy medium. We rarely get a good rain like this in July, and if we do, it’s usually a storm.

Its a ways from us. Very sad news. I feel for all those families, especially for the families that lost children. I can't imagine that pain.
