The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

I forgot to say I was in the urgent care walk in clinic place a full hour LOL

BUT!!!!!!!!

She gave me a steroid taper pack thing and antibiotics (doxycycline). Said I should start to feel better within 2 days. So should be about the same today and tomorrow but then Wednesday I should start to feel better. :yesss: :woot

I tried to post a video but it isn’t working for me. When I planted the sweet potato vine it was a stick with a couple leaves. I almost tossed it.

My goodness that is pretty! I've never grown anything as nice to look at as that. I like it all in the rock garden. Such gorgeous Hibiscus 🌺! Do you have to replant it every year? You don't do anything half-azzed do you?! 😄

Hi Jen, did you find some pretty agates?
Yes, I did! Ran out of daylight or I probably would have found more. (You could put me in a plain gravel parking lot, and I'd be happy for hours.)

I bought some succulents for our anniversary and it sparked something in me. I repotted a Jade plant that I have and ordered some mini Jade plants that people turn into Bonsai so I'm going to try to mix my rock hounding and succulent garden and see how that goes. (I figured if I hadn't killed my other Jade yet, it might go okay!)

(Getting our window sills installed might've helped, too.)

Well I shore the goats (sorry I didn't take any pictures) and I think we are on our way to look at some raft trailers.

I hope you are having a nice Monday, Debby! It hasn't rained because you haven't watered yet. 😁

A combo rock and succulent garden would be pretty and fun to make. Share pictures when it's ready!

I did get out and watered the garden plants so you're probably right about that...now it should rain

Thanks Jen!😁 I don’t think these Hibiscus are perennials. Some are. I have 2 in pots(different than the ones in the ground)that I am going to bring in the house over winter. I drive my husband crazy. I remind him he married for better or worse. 🤣

Gorgeous!
Thanks Debby!😁

I don’t have good luck with succulents, but I like them. I think our soil is too heavy.

They are a pain! We trapped one last week. Good thing we staked the trap or it would have escaped again. The second one hasn’t been seen since that night. Hubby saw a family of them on our road the other day. I’m sure they will be visiting soon.

Maybe you should invest in a couple of trampolines to attract them to the traps
