I just got a book in the mail that I ordered. It's a new Stephen King that I was sooo looking forward to reading.

Color me annoyed! It's a $17 hardbound book and has 109 pages. That's barely a short story! It's going to be awhile before I can get over feeling like I've been ripped off and can actually read it. Maybe it will be the best book ever?

(The title is "The Life of Chuck" if anyone is interested. They're making a movie of it too. The movie will take longer to watch than the book to read.)

I gave up on Stephen King…after watching Salem’s Lot. That scared me so bad. There were roughly 5 sisters that slept in the same bed that night.

That was one of his early ones...I loved it! So you never read or watched The Stand or Misery? Those were good too. He got into writing some weird fantasy stuff at one point and lost me for a while. But he's back to writing like his earlier days.

Just wrapped up my latest mosaic, it's a tray. I had to 2 goals with this one...to make a mosaic without having to cut any tile pieces (made it) and to use up some stuff that was laying around for a couple years (almost made it, had to buy a little bag more of triangle glass tiles so there is still stuff laying around).

Some of the pieces are tiny round mirrors, my hair and shirt show up in a couple of them

I was 10 years old. I had many nightmares over that one. I still see that boy hovering outside the hospital window. I think I tried to watch Misery. I saw Storm of the Century. That one scared me too.

I watched the life of chuck yesterday. The synopses said it was based on a short story. 109 pages is usually a novella.

I did like the movie but is is not a horror story. It was cute instead.
