I made applesauce for the first time today. Other than eating it plain, does anyone have a recipe for using it in cookies or bread? Open for other suggestions too.

My oldest son has sprint, now tmobile. He always complained when visiting, because didn't get service out here. About 2 years ago, when our service started going bad, his started getting better here.

tmobile has been building up their service areas so it is better in more places now.

home made applesauce is so good!

You can make sauce out of other fruits too. Apple Pair sauce is good too.

Sometimes when I have fruit getting old, I will make sauce of them.

Applesauce is used instead of oil or butter in recipes. I do not have one, but I have see applesauce cake recipes.

Yeah, when I was looking at applesauce recipes I saw some for quick breads and cookies. Just wondering if anyone here had a favorite.

The recipe for the sauce is good but it's pretty sweet. I had already cut the sugar in half (recipe called for 1 cup and I used a 1/2 cup) but next time I'll take it down to 1/4 cup.

I'll do a search for a quick bread recipe to try and share the results (if it turns out good ).
