I have the whole Precious Moments Sugartown village, another Precious Moments Christmas set, a Fall one and the Nativity. There’s other Christmas stuff in there too. I dust it once a year. I thought that's what it was! Its beautiful! I was thinking of starting a collection of snowbabies village for Violet Jane.
I have started a collection of Dept 56 Christmas in the City for Romona already.
(I started with the Hospital & Bringing Home Baby) I asked her Mom's & Dad's permission first because they are responsible for storage. They were thrilled.
I have a miniature Christmas Village addiction. Lol.
Poppy, Violet's older sister was the first great granddaughter so I bought her Fischer Price dollhouses and sets from the 90s. Alice will get all my Hawthorne Coca Cola village when her mom & dad are ready.

Looks like you've been collecting for years DMC! The colored deer caught my eye (picture 4 I think)...those look really old. Is there a story behind them?

I'm glad you asked. I was so excited by the Precious Memories that I forgot to ask about those.

Good morning Debby. I collected them years ago. I have the Sugartown train set and I also have over 30 porcelain ornaments. I was very busy on eBay for a while. They were the “thing” back then. Those deer are from Hobby Lobby. They are made to look vintage. I love vintage Christmas.

I found this the other day. Dept 56, Christmas in the City/ Jenny's Corner Book Shop.
Its somewhat rare and I'm torn between keeping it until I die and going ahead and passing it on to Ramona. I love bookstores and this one has a beautiful spiral stairway too.
