So sorry Barry. I would have done the same, can't stand to see an animal suffering. But it's hard for sure.

Thanks Debby, I let it go long enough that I was certain she wasn`t going to recover. I wish I knew then what I know now. I would not get any production breeds. She was an Isa brown, I just knew she would be one of the first of them to go downhill. She layed absolutely huge double yolk eggs every time! No more suffering for her.. Sweet thing...
