Hi Debby! I think we will. If I think we won`t make it until spring i`ll stop heating the shop if I need too! How`s it going in KY?

We're having the same bitter cold most everyone else is...snow, then ice, then more snow. Some have it worse though and we haven't had a problem with losing power (knock on wood!).

Hi Janie. No, thank goodness! It got up to 10* today but still negative windchills. I think our kids will be in for recess all week.
I shoveled the sidewalk and front porch when I got home. It was not too bad with the sun shining. It felt good to do some manual labor.

Hi Rene. He was a stinker yesterday. I had to message the boss and have him come and have a little chat. I know he was tired, but sometimes he needs a reminder that he is not the boss. Most of the day was good today. He had a couple melt downs in the afternoon.

I`m at the point where 30 would feel like a heat wave! Birds are staying in likely until Sunday. They have done really well. Going to have to change shavings when the lock in is over though!

Poor little guy, life is hard enough when you're not dealing with a handicap. I believe he is very blessed to have you watching over him.

Glad to hear the kids are staying inside for recesses. How do the kids feel about it...do they miss getting outside?

All local schools have been closed here all week! Even my old workplace and alma mater Westview Jr Sr HS! They do not have e learning because of the Amish students! Amish only go until the 8 th grade!

I’ve lived in Minnesota my whole life. I’m used to it, but will still whine.
Thank you, Rene. I will truly miss this child when I don’t have him anymore. I hope they will keep me with him through 4th grade…if he still needs me. He has come a long way this year.

Continuity is so important, if he still needs you, I hope they have sense enough to realize that and keep him in your care.
