I’m not sure what kind of birds they are. I’m guessing Sparrows.

Hi Rene. I’m enjoying it too. It is another beautiful day.
I use bread pans. I bake covered with another bread pan for 40 minutes at 425* and then another 15 uncovered. I temp it to 205*. I use my regular sourdough recipe. I did not have good luck with the Dutch ovens and this fits in my toaster and the bottoms aren’t burnt.

Thank you. They're very beautiful.

I have a set of cast iron bread pans, I just haven't used them yet. I've figured out how to use my Dutch oven, so that the bread turns out really well. I have a toaster that accommodates the larger slices. But, I really want to try the pans.

They work great for me. My daughter in law does it the same way. She makes beautiful loaves. I just make plain bread. She does inclusions.
