I’m not sure what kind of birds they are. I’m guessing Sparrows.I love birds! This weather has been so warm that there are a lot of Robins out there. A lot! This is February! We usually dont hesr ir see this many Robins until March.

Your bread looks amazing DMC.I need to try and make mine in bread pans like this. Do you just use your regular sourdough recipe, with an open bake and water?
I use bread pans. I bake covered with another bread pan for 40 minutes at 425* and then another 15 uncovered. I temp it to 205*. I use my regular sourdough recipe. I did not have good luck with the Dutch ovens and this fits in my toaster and the bottoms aren’t burnt.
