It was a really hard time for us. Favorite Aunt and Dad died, then found out Mom had dementia all in a short period of time . Then we had 2 houses full of junk to get rid of. Plus i had to give up all my farm animals and the farm we worked so hard on. I was really in a downward spiral until we moved here. But i have only lost a few pounds.So sorry CF!

Oh and talking weight loss, I passed on yet another nuked meal last night where the box might have been tastier!
It took him longer to prepare the dog’s smorgasbord of fresh meat than it did to nuke our boxed meal. I quote "Princess, here is your smorgasbord, enjoy!"

So, a couple of skipped meals prior is probably not going to hurt me.Sometimes things pile up and happen all at once. 2010 was my worst year ever.

We have one of those too! Dropped off here last February, maybe 12 weeks old. Found him meowing in the barn. DD2 came home from college and decided he was her cat. Now we have 4 house cats
They are all 5 years apart. The 5 Y/O was also a drop off at our prior house. He couldn't have been more than 5-6 weeks, didn't even walk properly at first. The 10 and 15 Y/O cats came from the H.S..
Perhaps, Princess, you should have eaten the fresh meat smorgasbord that your FIL made
