I went to several concerts with my dad, back in the day; very popular christian groups like Andre Crouch and Bill Gaither (no screaming at them!). Saw Bruce Springsteen in concert when I was in college. Critter's sister-in-law stood in line for hours to get the tickets, couldn't imagine that now.

Good morning all! I think I should go back to bed and start the day over. I dropped an egg in my furnace grate...amazing what a mess 1 egg can make

I used to go to a lot of concerts, enjoyed them back then but don't think I would so much now. The last one I went to was when we lived in FL and DH was hired to help set it up. The performer was Willie Nelson, it was ok but I think Willie had imbibed a bit too much.

Two of the very best I saw:
Stevie Wonder opened for the Rolling Stones...I really went to see the Stones but Stevie Wonder blew them out of the water.
BB King was the best of the best, loved that man's music (still do). And the concert was so much fun, lots of 'older' ladies all dressed up dancing in the aisles.

The last one we went to (and I do mean the LAST one) was Jason Aldean and Miranda Lambert. I have never seen so many drunks and so much beer spilled in one evening. On the way out of the venue there had to be 50 police officers conducting sobriety checks.

Good idea to check before so many get out on the roads. Since having a grandfather killed by a drunk driver, I have no tolerance for people that drive under the influence.
