DH left to go do some stuff at the club house so I could have a quiet nap. Don't tell, but I watched "Cool Runnings" instead of sleeping. Love that movie about the Jamaican bobsled team (and good ol John Candy, miss that guy).

My dad's birthday was Wednesday but he was out of town and didn't get back till Thursday. My parents and brother and his gf went out to dinner I think Thursday or Friday? I think Thursday but I cant remember lol that's bad. Anyway, I didn't go because I was sick and didn't want to contaminate everyone. My mom got me a cream puff though when she got the cake. They didn't bring it because my brother's gf had already gotten one so we ate it Friday hah we just dug into it without telling him lol

Anyway, the carrot cake is kinda stale and dry and not that good though normally I love carrot cake. It's from Whole Foods. The one my mom got from some city bakery is the fancy one with the fruit lol it's so fancy they give you a cake cutter, complete with matches.

That one is delicious btw!

The cream puff was pretty good but it was whipped cream and I am much more a fan of the actual cream ones lol although, as you see, it also had a second type of filling and that made it much better.

Still all delicious though.

Our yard, which I feel like I've posted a lot before but it went with the dog discussion from a few days ago plus i just wanted to share it again, idk. It's really ugly right now though so I should probably wait to post until spring when it's really pretty but oh well haha

Oh and I made some videos of it but they accidentally got way too long haha but if anyone's interested anyway. They show more than the pictures.

On this one after around 4 or 5 minutes I start going down the driveway but if you're interested in the mini "hikes" we can do in our woods, keep watching. Sometime I will have to film that. And I also need to get my camera out and/or buy a GoPro for better video quality and also edit it so that it's not just me rambling on so long haha but with this one, I didn't expect it to be so long but it just kind of happened haha

Gator is in this one though at least.

This one after around a minute you can fast foward to around 3:30, unless you want to watch me struggle to get up the all ice hill and laugh. Which you might want to do.

I would love to live by a river...as long as it didn’t floodwe are at a balmy 19, highest it’s been for a while.
