The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

I KNOW what that is like

It can be really miserable when you're done with the drive and still have hours to go lol

Talk about a miserable trip @KDOGG331 yours sounds like a nightmare!

Oh it was! But then the second day was better ha we were driving partway and staying overnight then driving the rest. The funny thing is we were going to Erie, PA which is only a 9 or 10 hour drive to begin with....

And when I get sick I get kind of anxiety/panic attacky too and I think I got somewhat restless legs too and just like basically I didn't want to sit still and just wanted to get out which is hard in a moving metal box haha

Lookie, lookie! Update on our sweet little Ashely just posted a few minutes ago on FB!

Good Morning Friends :hugs

Michelle still loving your new house! So much potential!

Rob congrats on having running water again!

Cap I hope you have/had fun shopping.

Blooie staying put sounds like a great idea; nice fire, cuppa and a good book! Or BYC, of course ;)

:clap XTC Iris is now a tropical low, turned around and heading back up the coast but posing no threat to the coast unless she redevelops yet again.

88F predicted for today; partly cloudy but sun is shining.

TGIF!! :ya It may have been a short work week but it was a long one! :p

Enjoy your weekend @Teila you worked hard for it!:woot

Thanks Deb! :hugs

Just got to get through the next 7 hours of :caf and I am done!

Weather is looking good for the weekend and the garden bags have been emptied so I am going to try and finish the rest of the palm undergrowth along the fence line.

Sounds like a good plan! At least it seems that terrible hot weather you were having won't be a big problem. Be sure and show us some more pictures when you're done. I love your yard, you've really done a wonderful job with it!

Seeing those smiling faces is enough to make anyone smile back :D Thanks for sharing it with us B!
X2
Teila enjoy your weekend.... Glad the TC has died off...

Watered all my garden plants today... They're looking a bit peeked after no water for a couple days. Was going to plant this weekend but yet another freeze scheduled for Saturday. At least I'll be able to do some thinning this weekend. I'm hoping to get some deer netting for the garden to keep the girls out. I doubt I'll have any onions this year. I plant them, they dig them up. It's a cycle...

Aaaw, thanks Deb, it is a labour of love! ;)

Yep, we are getting closer to winter so temps not so high and more importantly, not so humid.

I have been chipping away at the palms on the other side of the gate after work and got two and a bit done. It is amazing how much more roomy it makes the garden look; less jungle, more garden! Also, less undergrowth and shady thickness for the mosquitoes to hide in :p This section is behind the girls so they will also probably be more appreciative of a bit more light coming through and less mosquitoes.

Also, just wanted to share one of one of the ponds .. I am really pleased with how they are going :clap It took quite some time to get the set up right but looks like it was worth it .. the water is so clear! Lots of little guppies everywhere! :love
