Cold this morning with temp at 22* but it's supposed to warm up to 66* That's quite a swing.

Yesterday afternoon DH & I met with the golf course advisory board. The head of the company has made himself a member and when he heard about the restaurant troubles, he said he'll see to it personally that things are ironed out asap! He doesn't care about golf but he loved our food last year and he's anxious to come out to eat

@Teila glad you enjoyed your day off! Do people say "Happy Anzac Day"? If so, that's from me to you. Did your team win the game?

Well "Treezilla," put up quite a fight but, none the less it came down. The crew left enormous pieces of the trunk on my front lawn. It looked like "TreeHenge". Then the man said a truck will be by to pick it up. I didn't believe him. I thought maybe in a month or two.

It actually happened. I heard some loud booms and I figured someone was trying to steal the trunk pieces. Nope it was a very long dump trunk. At the outside/back a man was standing up and operated one of those claw things.

You know the type, you put in 50 cents and have chance to snag a prize but, the claw always drops it. Well this claw didn't drop anything till it let go over the dump trunk.
Wow, there were two pieces of bark on the ground. The guy sent the claw down and it picked it up and dumped it. Show off!! I would have just walked over and picked it up.
