Our poor ole car is getting a bit long in the tooth and has needed a few things repairing of late but hopefully she will do us proud for a bit longer yet. I have never owned a new car, always secondhand.

FIL’s dog took out another mature capsicum last night Hubby is planning to raise the vegetable garden beds even higher to keep her out and for now, I have positioned multiple stakes throughout the garden to stop her trying to turn it into somewhere to sleep!

Long weekend this weekend! I have Monday off due to it being 'Labour Day' in Queensland!

Because of the 'bonus' day, hubby and I are going to the movies in town tomorrow to see Avengers: Infinity War; I am so looking forward to that and a change of pace

Thank You .. hubby is more the Super Hero / Sci Fi geek than me and while I will probably enjoy the movie as I have the others I have been 'dragged' along too; I am more looking forward to a few hours of just the two of us and some 'down time'

We've got really old vehicles right now, but they were inexpensive so it's nice not to have payments. They do need work done from time to time buy my DH is a mechanic so that cuts down on cost significantly.
We did lease a car for three years, it was nice having a new car for once, but I don't think that's going to happen again for a very long time But that's ok!

My son just bought a car for $1500...1993 with 94,000 miles. One of the guys I clean for cannot drive anymore so his wife sold his car. I’m glad he was ok with it. I know it was taken care of.
