Hey, Phil, I know I just read it somewhere but old age and new meds are playing havoc with my memory tonight.....where did you say you ordered your Icelandics from?  
Haven't ordered them yet just set it up
I contacted David Grote any Whippoorwill Farms...how you doing Blooie ? I've been keeping my wife informed of your health too...you even have fans outside the chicken world...
 
I'm coming into this late but, I know about the "strange introduction," I replied (?) it just after Sour's post. I knew what I wanted to say but thought better of it

My thoughts were it was "court ordered," maybe for abuse of certain animals.

Aww, how nice, Phil! Thank you! And thanks for the information on where you got your hatching eggs....I'm just thinking about it at the moment. The adult, intelligent side of me (Yes, I have one!) says "Wait until you feel stronger and then don't practice on rarer eggs....practice your new incubator lack of skills on cheaper, more readily available eggs". But the other part of me, the goofy want it now part of me says, "Oh, go for it!"

I second the goofy part that says "go for it" Blooie!

Those are some of the prettiest chickens. And I love the variety of feather colors. And those crazy little "wigs" they seem to have.
