The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

We got another inch of rain today. I think this is the greenest summer I’ve seen. It’s not normal to get good rains in July. Usually it comes with thunder, lightning , hail and wind but they have been perfect.
Weather is off in a lot of places!

Sadly we are having normal July weather here....

Even it the milk were sour you would be fine.

The date on milk is a sell by date. It is supposed to be good for 5 days or so after the date.

I get that TMJ if i chew gum

That’s why I’m going through my dentist. He’s right in town if I have issues.

You will be fine.

Thank you both! Good to know!

Gator ran out of food yesterday so ran to grocery store and picked this up to hold him over till order came in. Usually grocery stores don't have the best options but they've had better options lately and have been wanting to try this. Plus it's only a few minutes from my house. I figured I'd try here before driving to the pet store. This flavor seemed like the best out of about 3 or 4, most meat at the beginning of list instead of 1 meat then lentiles, potatoes, etc., 3 or 4 veggies first, like another flavor. Still has that stuff but not so high up. But does still have a lot of plant matter. Anyway, he LOVES it. And I got a coupon! It's normally $18.99 (which is actually pretty reasonable considering some would be that much for 5 pounds or like $30-$40 for this size) and then the store had $1.50 off with a card and then at self checkout it printed a manufacturer coupon for the food I was buying! I hate how they print the coupons for what you just bought!! LOL so anyway, that was another $2.50 off!! So I went right over to the service desk and got my $2.50 back AND it gave me like $0.34 cents back in tax too for some reason so I got like $2.80 something back! So I saved $4!! And he loves it so it's a win win. The only downside is the kibble pieces are VERY small! Like cat food or the crunchy salmon treats from Grizzly. But he seems to be able to eat it just fine. He's just a big dog. But oh well.

And this is the one I decided to try. Been wanting to for a while. I think the recipe possibly changed this year or late last but still seems like a great food. Wouldn't buy it if it was drastic and they might not have even changed it, not entirely sure. But ya.

He just finished a bag of Zignature which is very pricey on Chewy and Amazon but at Agway it is anywhere from $7-$12 cheaper. Usually around $10. Obviously a HUGE difference and makes it comparable to other brands.

I was going to put him back on NutriSource as our feed store carries more flavors than they used to but they were closing. I guess since I got the food from the grocery, I could have driven to the feed store to get it but I just kind of quickly ordered the HiTek. Plus I wanted to try it anyway. He does love NutriSource though but Chewy stopped carrying it.

Lol makes sense! Funny he lets you build so much though yet is so worked up over a little teeny hummingbird feeder. :p

(I know he's probably not actually worked up but you get my point hopefully lol)

If it was me, I would put it up anyway :p
Its not worth the issue. I have other stuff to focus on right now. Building another chicken coop.

That makes sense! Though maybe you could just do it while he's gone :P but understandable. What's the other coop for? Getting more chickens?
