Chopping skills, I'm impressed! I'm more of a hacker, lol. I bet potatoes would be good in your dish. Love chorizo but usually save that for paella (wonderful with mussels and chicken).
The baking thing comes sort of naturally to me. My grandmother used to be the baker for their local school and she taught me some stuff when I was just a kid. I've been teaching myself yeast breads the past couple of years and enjoy that the most but you know what they say...man doesn't live by bread alone.
Speaking of the new member welcomes...do you subscribe to those threads or just post and move on? I've been subscribing in case they have a follow up question but I'm getting a bit tired of having 35-40 subscriptions cluttering up things every day (especially when it's "Hi welcome to BYC" 35-40 times).
