The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Family home will be 49 yrs. old, original owners. I love this place, even though we never had the money to modernize(over the years) things only got replaced when they were broken.

The house and I have aged and we are very comfortable with each other. I can't count how many times my sister moved(her husbands idea) and my brother (apartments, condos, townhouse).

My son had various apartments and finally was able to buy a condo.Out here it would be called a town house ,3 or 4 levels for a small footprint. I could never handle all those stairs. No one is permitted to have whole house air conditioning, so he finally got a room AC for his bedroom.

We were only the 3rd owner of our house. Original owner was there from 1947 to 2010. Next owner had it for a year, but got restationed. We had it for 7. It still has most of its original stuff. Even though it's being torn down, the new owners wouldn't let us take the few things we wanted (a door and some wall sconces).

I don’t like this old, beat up trailer we live in, but it would be so hard to let it go.
we bought our trailer in 1970, we've both aged along with the trailer, but it will still be here when we're long gone, i love my trailer, in fact so much when my mil passed we inherited her house right next door and we could have moved in but we didn't want to so i asked our son if he wanted to move back "home" with his family, we still live in our trailer and he lives in moms next door.
