Totally agree! I doubt this repair will hold very long. We are waiting for it to dry good before attempting repair. Come winter we will probably be putting in a new one. The toilet and sink will have to come out to get the tub out and a new one in. It was a nightmare to get this one in. We gutted this bathroom and redid it ourselves.I think it was January 2015 we put it in.

Whew, the UW tournament is over (our last tournament of the season)

This is the 3rd year for it to be at our golf course and each year it has doubled in size...good news for the organization, they were very pleased!

DMC I hate bathrooms. Working in them just is a pita. The house I sold, I re-did all the bathrooms with maple vanities with incredible hard wood tops. Realtor insisted I paint the maple white... So I did. it worked. No accounting for buyer ignorance. But then again that's a different story.

p.s. Good news is I had the wood in my wood pile.... So they were free lest my labor.

I put pictures in the fair again and they did well, 11 out of 13 placed I also put 2 my son took in his name and he placed 2nd on both.

Who's got fun plans for the weekend?

Went to Lake Placid today, DD1 took (and passed ) her ice skating Senior Moves test.
She's not been able to skate enough to learn and practice the moves for 8 years due to her permanent migraine and they changed some of them in the interim so she's been working all summer at this. I'm uploading the videos (fuzzy in parts) to YouTube but at 1M/minute it will take a long time.

Sept 14-22nd, but no Agricultural exhibits due to lack of participation! Bummer.

Makes it a BIG pass. Fairs are for agricultural stuff. Don't need the "midway" though I do watch some of the small acts.

I'm hoping (fingers crossed ) I can leave once it's over. This is my day off

Yes. all my work. Funny, the buyer wanted a foodie house, not because they were foodies, but because it was cool. I really did't care. And after they dug all the edibles out of the gardens and watered with grass... I didn't feel bad when the big oak fell on the house.
