The other day went to take photos- none showed up. Put new batteries in, flash worked but nothing else. Went to back up camera. Didn't want flash - it flashed once and died.
New batteries didn't create a stir. Guess 12 or 13 years is a long time to have a camera.
Used them both extensively for the first few years and then just occasionally. I think they both gave up the ghost.

New point & shoots don't have view finders.
My son has a ton of cameras - all too complicated for me to use. My brother got a new camera every time my son did. My brother got them and then doesn't know how to use them. He's had quite a progression of cell phones, couldn't figure out how to use the cameras on them either.
