Too funny,
Debby, Yellowstone report as of today: Sunny, 73, no snow at all when we went through, lots of construction, especially around Fishing Bridge, slow moving RVs, not a single critter, and trailers that wouldn’t use the pullouts to let accumulating traffic go by. We followed the same camping trailer for 40 miles going through Yellowstone and into Grand Teton. Not much of a view! Couldn’t go around him - either heavy oncoming traffic, no-passing zones, or views too obstructed by hills or curves to risk it. In the Parks traffic laws are enforced with a federal ticket - none of this state and/or local stuff. Court appearances are in Mammoth at the Federal Court. Yeah, not messing with that!! I think the reason we didn’t see any animals was because of the construction where buffalo usually hang out and the time of day...missed the early morning.
Have Fun! When do you go?Morning everyone
Thanks for the YNP update B. I spent a LONG time on the phone yesterday getting our arrangements made but they're done now. This is going to be a pricey trip, a lot different from the days when Dad would load us all into the car and we'd drive up there to camp. But, I'm excited about seeing the park again, it's been 19 years since the last trip. DH has never been and my oldest son is coming up so we can all go together![]()
