no, they are so little and so fast that i can't catch one, been trying for about five years so i could take one to my dr. no luck so far, i know what they look like to me cause one was biting me on the arm one year and i had long nails at the time and i trapped it between the index finger and my thumb nail, it was a little brown beetle looking bug that was full of my blood, like a mosquito drinks blood and like a mosquito, soft bodied and squished to nothing but a blood spot, if you get bit, (i do) i get a little red mark, then it swells to about the size of a golf ball, feels like its on fire and itches three times worse than a mosquito for about two weeks. i usually go to the dr and he gives me a shot and prednisone to take , apparently i'm highly allergic to them , what ever they are, i'm not allergic to mosquito's, dog flies, horse flies , deer flies or any of the known things that i can think of,just theses, i'm suppose to wear insect spray w/deet when outside but you know how it is, you forget, last week i went outside to let my chickens out and thought i would spray and clean the inside cage out before i came back in, forgot about the nasties til one hit me in the corner of my eye and before i could raise my hand he had bit me , my dr isn't in on sat or sundays of course so thought i would tough it out, believe me, never again, will call my dr, i have his cell phone number, just hate to bother him on a weekend,ok, enough whining ( been thinking i might be able to catch one in a fine butterfly net but haven't tried it yet)Glad you're feeling better Sharron! Can you catch one of those bugs and post a picture of them?
