Besides up to 1 oz. is one forever stamp (currently worth 49 cents) I didn't have any penny stamps so used 2- stamps which is way better than 50 cents,:barnie
Nope, no matter what you actually paid for it a Forever stamp is currently valued at $0.50. DW says the minimum for a package is $3.50 no matter what it weighs.

Awesome! Keep staying safe and heal.

Debby, there's no way to describe the frustration that goes on with these things. I had a closing date on my house in TN on 1 June 2015. May 25 no appraisal, aka no final loan approval. I had already rented a truck and was loading it for the final close. I should also tell you this was a short sale and the previous owner was 15 months behind in their payments.

Normally, the buyer has no idea who the appraiser is, but this is a small town in TN and the realtor knew. so I called the appraiser who sent me the audit trail of when they submitted to the bank. After I provided that to the bank, the bank approved my loan in less than a half hour. So off to TN we went for final close.

While at the lawyers office, I could hear the previous owner complaining she needed more money and the bank should have never agreed. The realtor stepped up and waived half of his commission so they could get a check from the sale. It all ended well, I got the keys, the bank got a check and first thing I did was change all the locks. Then it was time to empty the truck and get the house setup. What a thrill.... And I had deer eating from my front yard.

Wow Bob, that's bad! That could have been like what we ran into with the house in north FL. We gave up our place in the Keys, had the rental truck loaded, drove most the length of FL and were 1 hour out from what we thought was going to be our final closing date. Only to find out it was cancelled. We had to stay in one of those awful rent-by-the-week places...for 5 weeks. DH and I still refer (not so lovingly) to that place as The Flea Bag.

I'll have to say, this time around is going better. But still a headache. Now if we can just get through the next 2 weeks until closing without something gumming up the works!

I remember, I’m talking the inside;)

I'm going to take a lot of pictures so we'll have a record of "before" and "after". It's an old house and needs some TLC. But the kitchen, living room and master bedroom are a great size. The other 2 bedrooms are on the small size and it only has 1 bath now (but we're going to add at least a 1/2 bath). Nice sized back yard too...that's going to be fun to do some landscaping this spring!

Congrats!!! Debby :clap:celebrate:ya:yesss::wee:woot

Thank you Sean, we're kind of excited about it too :D

Nice signs Cap! Do you now have 1 of each sign they offer?
No, there are 2 more in the current batch i need to get. I am sure i can use more laying pellets.
Good morning everyone. Not happy about the rain coming our way today. And 40s for the high.

We have wind in our forecast. Oh, wait...we have wind everyday.

It will be December or January before we see that here in South Texas. ;) cool to watch but hate the mess they make.
It was cool but have never noticed a mess.

Exciting! Are you going to do the work yourself? We redid our bathroom ourselves. That was not enjoyable. We need to do our main bathroom and I don’t look foreword to that as its not fun working with a crabby husband when things don’t go smoothly. I have always liked old houses. Our house was built in 1979 so was only 13 years old when we bought it and I’ve never liked it. We bought the land and the house come with it. I know that sounds awful as I should be grateful I have a roof over my head. We redid the whole outside including windows, siding, roofing and decking about 10 years ago. Everything was going to heck. I would love to have one of them big 4 stories I grew up in. Be careful what I wish for, I know:D
