The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Morning Bruce :frow
Hi Debby

Main stairs to the second level.
Whoa, that is unusual. Wonder how skinny the people were who first built that house!

Move over Sean and Cap.....I need the medical space. Herniated a disk here. <sigh> Timing couldn’t be any worse with our schedule, either.
:smackYou gotta stop having medical problems Blooie
:hugs

I had a herniated disc once, i couldn't move without excruciating pain. So i laid in bed in one position for about 2 days. Then it slowly started to improve.
Given how much you are always doing, that must have been torture.

Debby, I’m so excited about your new house! Congrats to you and Frankenfoot. And yep, we need lots of pictures! Wish you were closer, though. I happen to know a dynamite electrician who works pretty cheap!
Um, I think Ken is a bit busy for the next 10 months. She might need the electric work done a bit earlier than that!

My bad disc was back in the 80s when my kids were little. But i do hate to lay still for any length of time.

Hey Bruce, it seems I'm usually in the dark anyway!

I'll wait until we get a place in Cody before trying to requisition help from Mr. B. Maybe he'll have a free moment by then.

Saw this at one of my jobs yesterday in the laundry room. At first I thought it was fake. I poked it with my duster to make sure and it didn’t move so thought wow thats a realistic fake snake. So of course I had to poke at it again to make sure and then I saw the tail twitch. When owner got home I said there’s a snake in your laundry room...he looked at me like yeah right. He found it behind a laundry basket and said oh it’s just a baby. I of course responded with I hope it wasn’t a pregnant snake and that was only one of them. Yuck!!

i like snakes, i probably would have caught it and put it outside
husband has a rubber one that he has on my side of the car in the garage, sometimes i forget its there, startles me for a second then i remember, needless to say, its still there:)

Not yet, the guy that said he wanted them has never showed up!
i hate when someones does me that way, i have been known to not sell them to that person unless they call me and tell me they're not coming that day after i go thru the trouble of catching the birds up. in my case, chickens:mad:

I feel for you Jae on the paperwork! Ours is probably different paperwork, but either yours or mine, it's all a mountain of forms. Hang in there, you'll get through it. What was decided about that piece of land you guys went back to look at?

Sorry about your cat, hope she'll be better soon!

We decided that bit of land was just too difficult and steep to get a truck carrying a new house onto. And because it's clay soil there it would've been real 'fun' getting around the property in winter. So the hunt continues.

Kitty was not impressed at having to take medicine. She's got a super sensitive nose so she could smell it coming. We have to wrap her up in a towel to dose her (I have 3 big scratches on my wrist where I tried just holding her while DH attempted to get the medicine anywhere near her).

Grab the head over the top and tip it up.... they open up naturally... Aim the pill for the V int the back of the tongue...

I have had two male cats with renal disease. sigh... No more cats for me... Vet taught me how.

Yeah, I learned a long time ago to just ignore them if they try again.

Sorry she got you!

Jae, sorry that wasn't the right place. Best to know it now rather than later.

Hope Deb's video on medicating the cat help!
