The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

I like to get mine in and up before it freezes hard or the temperature drops too much. One year of putting up lights in -10 weather was enough to get me moving earlier.
We did that one year too. I said I’d go without lights before I ever did that again.
OK Cap thanks for asking. Good thing about cold weather, don't have to pay to have the grass cut - okay more weeds that grass.

How are your Tolbunt babies doing are you going to keep any for breeding?

The other day I got cut on an envelope - massive paper cut, thought I'd have to be air lifted to the hospital 20 minutes away. But didn't want to go, so I just covered it up very well with a few band-aids. I don't plan to use that digit again until it heals completely.

Otherwise I'm liable to get in a rut, with a new paper cut every other day. Gets truly boring. Actually got cut on the big envelope that had the BYC new calendar in it. Don't intend to sue over it. No major harm done. Plus I love Backyard Chickens.
They do hurt!! You are funny:gig
If I need paper cut, I use a scissors instead of my tongue. Your helpful hint of the day, brought to you by Punch Drunk Blooie.
:gig

I just saw footage on our news. Just awful - all those poor people. :hit

Cap, those Frizzle babies are so adorable. All our Frizzle Pekins (Cochin bantams) turned out to be boys when we hatched some eggs a couple of years ago so we had to send them back to the breeder. :( Broke the kids hearts so hopefully we can have a little roo one day soon.

Blooie - :th (that's all I can say). You're amazing!
i have a white frizzle rooster, a white hen, a mottled, a black and a red that i think a hens, still young yet, are the chicks are out of other hens, not the white hen (you get chicks with terrible and sparse feathers if you breed frizzle to frizzle i've been told) i will put the white frizzle hen with a mille fleur color rooster this coming spring to try to get a mille fleur color cochin, love my cochins:love
