The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

I am thinking an MRI and an ortho appointment are in order.
Can't 'like' that...I don't think an MRI will tell them anything, just my opinion...I could be wrong. Unless they do it with contrast...which is not safe anymore due to the dyes they use.

Today is our daughter's 52nd birthday. :th Where did the years go ? The Princess and I are meeting her for lunch today. Grandson is coming too. He's been at school in California so we haven't seen him in over 3 months. :hugs
Hope you have a enjoyable and memorable lunch with DD and GS! I can hear the excitement in your text, so I know you will. :)

@bruceha2000 I saw that list of events you were celebrating in CA...have a great time!

@sourland a most happy b-day to your daughter! Nice you'll get a chance to see her and your grandson too :D

X2

Cap, hope they figure it out and give you something that will work for the pain.:hugs

Sending every good thought I can think of for @sharron, @CapricornFarm, @007Sean - would you all just get better so I can quit worrying?

@sourland, happy birthday to your daughter and have a great lunch with her, the Princess, and your grandson!

Nothing much to report here. Twittering? Do I hear twittering? Any more of that and I’ll have to clear the thread!! Got Ken all packed for his next trip. He’ll leave today and be home Wednesday night.

Got my two Junior Chefs, Evan and Katie, coming over Wednesday to help me prepare the sides for Thursday. They’ll be learning some new kitchen skills as they make pies, stuffing, cheese ball, slow baked beans, and the cranberry relish. They both love cooking and baking, and I love teaching them! And since from the start I’ve taught them about cleaning up as they go, and after they’re done, we should have some Phase 10 time - at least time for one game. Actually Bug is coming tomorrow after school and helping me get the house ready, then she’s going to spend the night with Gramma. Tam will bring Evan up Wednesday. I’m so looking forward to this welcome break from endless hotel rooms, fast blood or banquets, and sitting in the truck. And I’ve missed them! I have Katie and Kendra after school today. Kids have an appointment in Cody at 3 so I’ll pick the girls up. Tam’s coming over to lift Kendra and then put her wheelchair in the car for me.

Not at all!

3 cups fresh cranberries
1 sweet apple
Orange zest
The rest of the orange
1 stalk celery
Walnuts - to taste, or you can omit them

Cut celery, peel and core apple, break orange into segments. No rocket science here - cut just so you know your food processor won’t protest or turn some stuff into liquid while trying to break up bigger, coarser ingredients. Process until it’s uniform and the texture you’d like. Transfer to a bowl, add from 3/4 to one cup sugar, depending on tartness of orange and berries, cover and refrigerate overnight.
