The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Blooie, when we were in Cody a couple months ago, we overheard a guy telling someone about a grizzly by the Dairy Queen. I wasn't sure if he was kidding or not so looked it up in their newspaper...it was for real!
I use to have a Guadalupe Bearhound. Everybody use to ask me what kinda dog she was....I'd tell'em a Guadalupe Bearhound, they wouldn't believe me until they say "There aren't any bears in Guadalupe county" to which I would reply, " "There aren't here anymore" :lau

:gig

If that's how it works, then Blooie won't have to worry about wolves.

Have you tried grain free foods?

They're on a grain free one they've been on for years but the ingredients list is still as long as my arm.

Talking of dog breeds we met a Russian Terrier up at the local dog park the other week. He seriously looked like a big, black bear, but he was gorgeous. Very docile and friendly. Not at all your typical terrier in any way, shape or form. Thankfully he wasn't offended that our dog ignored him. She ignores all other dogs and is fully focused on her ball. Some dogs get really annoyed and bark at her, but she loves chasing that ball and that's why she goes to the park. She's not interested in socialising.

@KDOGG331 you mentioned sledding. Have you heard of skijoring? I want to try that.

Yes! That's another one I want to try!! And possibly bikejoring or scootering although I think that would scare me lol but skijoring looks fun and I've considered it. Actually thinking of asking DB & FSIL if I can use Libby and Franklin when they're old enough LOL

I had to look up Russian Terriers, don't think I've seen one of those. Wiki says 17 different breeds were used in the development. Interesting!
