Oh no! I'm so sorry to hear that.Well... we put Gator to sleep tonight. He is hopefully flying high with our previous dog, Bailey.
It seems like he's been suffering for quite a while. You did everything you possibly could for him.

Lot of Canadian geese don't migrate if there's food and good ponds.
I heard gees going over last week. I live on a stop along the pacific Fly way. They stop here for the night
It depends on where you are(north to south) and the weather. With el nino years, they go south and north repeatedly sometimes. Normally they will start back north in a couple of months but this year is an el nino year!Huh, interesting. There’s both of those here and it has been a particularly warm winter but usually does snow and stuff here.
Maybe migration is late this year?
It was like a chorus of animals right after he passed though, was odd. And he used to love watching and sometimes barking at the passing geese and the coyotes

That is because you are further north than I am. It does not freeze here much and we do not get snowHuh, I never knew that. That is interesting. I have never heard them in December before.

I normally don’t believe in that stuff but considering I haven’t heard or seen either in weeks, it was odd
