Calendar my hiney! He is the all seeing Bruce!

He’s the official historian for all things on this thread
Not sure if it’s a spreadsheet or just tucked up in his head,
Memory like a steel trap for anything that’s said,
Cataloging facts long after everyone’s in bed.

He can tell you our birthdays and our favorite chickens’ names,
The Uncles on our mothers’ sides and the ones that we don’t claim,
If we’re using heat lamps or a Mama Heating Pad,
He’s got it stored away somewhere, the good things and the bad.

He’s the official historian of all things on this thread,
He knows if we’re married and the dates that we were wed,
He knows if our roosters are Henry, George or Fred,
And logs in what time our flocks were fed.

He knows all our numbers and our mothers’ maiden names,
Got satellite maps of where we live, and where our birds free range,
How we got our avatars and chose our odd nicknames,
He hugs us if we’re feeling sad, he feels our deepest pain.

He’s the official historian, our Bruce should take a bow,
He manages to keep us straight although I don’t know how,
He knows what we’ll stand for and what we won’t allow,
The only thing that he don’t know is where I am right now!

just had a friend call, seems her husband dropped his derringer and shot himself a couple of weeks ago in the leg by accident, we were suppose to meet one day last week for dinner and since i was fighting a tooth ache never thought to call her,
they are so lucky that no one was killed. you know a hollow point 38 bullet can do alot of damage, hes so lucky also that the bullet missed the bone (but did tear a artery )
