The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

How did the first visit go Cap and how was the "can't be too bad because you didn't have to make it" turkey dinner?
Visit went well, though 4 kids can sure make a racket! Bella was a great help, from feeding birds and bunnies to assisting in the rabbit cage build.
Supper was excellent, hubby makes the best mashed potatoes ever.

@CapricornFarm, good day here - got above freezing and no wind. Rehooked the sump pump line so water is not being discharged under the deck and making it's way to the parking lot. Princess fell  on the sidewalk by the deck when we got home. Her angels were working and all she has is a bruise on her hip. Salted the slick areas. Next week it gets colder here, but nothing like the Midwest is expecting. We can't complain. Hope it is good by you.
It actually went up to about 50° here today, i was out there working on a rabbit cage.
The kids are hoping to use those flying saucers while in Jersey. They were excited to see ice on the windshield!:lau

I prefer them fresh...as in this years batch, once they hatch of course.
I take pics every hatch, keep thinking I'm going to do an article on what the different species of newly hatched pheasant chicks look like....problem is by the time I get around to doing it I forgot which chicks are from which species! :lau I'm so smart I don't need to label the pics I'll remember! :gigit's not like I haven't seen them before but some of them look-a-like! :he
