Not this morning but my brother makes haggis and is threatening me with it when I go visit him. So far he hasn't mentioned porridge with salt but he has talked about blood pudding.

Black pudding is ok (with a full English breakfast), but not Scottish in origin and i seem to recall reading something about the origins of haggis not being Scottish - anyway, food transcends all cultures - most seem to have black sausage / blood pudding / boudin noir so who made it first is not important (but worth arguing over

)

Does anything give you the idea that your brother is not too keen on your visits?

No, he'd love to have me come for a visit...so he could gross me out in person

Ah, i see. I am the youngest of 3 - 2 older sisters and they used to wind me up something rotten, so for the opposite reason, I'd plump for younger. Bet Debby will say they are twins!

This is a small lake in the Rift Valley - very nice hotel there where i always order roast duck for lunch and lamb chops for dinner - EVERY single night. Things are a bit tight these days, so i have not been there for a couple of years. This is kinda cheating, cos its from the UK, but i thought you'd appreciate that one Phil.

Indeed. When staying on the coast here in Kenya, we used have fishermen come to the cottages with fresh fish (i.e. literally just caught) and that used to be a treat - slapped on a BBQ, some salad, bottle of white wine...

I empathize with you completely. I have one sister 16 years older than me and another 12 years older than me. My oldest sister is an angel here on earth. The other not so much - to the point that I severed all contact with her on the day we buried our mother.
