The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Good morning everyone! Hard to believe January is almost over already...didn't we just have Christmas?
And soon it will be spring and the golf course will open!
Oh, sorry

Now I can warm up(?) in my cold basement and touch base with all the Bycers.
THAT is why you go out in this weather, so your basement feels warm by comparison. Sadly that doesn't last long.

I have cancelled my cleaning jobs tomorrow...not worth going out into that for someone to have a clean house.
Good plan.

Our house air is so dry, when one of the cats stands on my lap and I pet them, you can feel the little shocks from their feet.
I bet the cats enjoy that as much as you do.

Don't all husbands have to do windows ? I think it's in the contract.
Not my contract. Mostly the windows just stay dirty most of the time.

can't like that DigMyChicks. Have a humidifier on the furnace but it doesn't work if it's very cold outside. I hate static shock. Can't do any laundry - has to warm up quite a bit so stuff from the dryer won't zap me.
i always use fabric softener in either the dryer or washing machine, also use static guard on car seats in winter cause when i slide on the seat to get out of the car, touch the door to close it and zap:mad:

But, but, but, you are not supposed to use fabric softener on flannel, fleece and hi tech exercise clothes(that wick moisture away from body). It makes flannel, fleece more flammable, and clogs the fibers on ex.clothes.

In grocery stores almost every object I reach for gives me static shock. Good thing the ice cream doesn't or I'd be starving.

I've had times where the demonstrator in store is handing out samples, our fingers touched briefly and we both got such a zotz it knocked the sample out of our hands.
She was thereafter afraid of me, and Me of her.

i don't have any of those, my clothes are all cotton, everything else makes me itch like crazy and break out in a rash:idunno
