A very belated

-42 c here today. First real cold snap we've had this winter. It's a definite reminder of why we got the house. These uninsulated floors are a killer!

I hope that everyone is enjoying their warmer weather.

For the moment I really am. 45.7F but Tues to Thurs. really bad again.

40 F actually seemed hot today. Of course I was probably over dressed. When I came back inside I was soaked from perspiration. I'm not complaining.

We've had a really schizo kind of weather day...it's clear, it's raining, it's snowing, it's clear again.

No wonder weathermen have trouble hitting that moving target.

45.7F here Sour, enjoyed it immensely. I am so energized, I did two loads of laundry.

It's amazing how getting outdoors and being physically active energizes me. Tomorrow I plan on working dogs the greater part of the day. Federation trials start in March, and I have 3 potential contenders.

Are you able to sell/rehome those that don't work out?

I have had good luck in finding homes for those that do not pan out. Do good for me, and you have lifetime rights here. 'The Rat' is seriously challenged, insists on urinating in his sleeping box, is terrified of thunder storms - anyone sane would have him euthanized. I purchased him from a bad situation to make a point to his previous owner, and he grew on me. I always say everyone is allowed one pet - he is my pet, and he did make his championship. Right now I have a 4 year old male that needs to be relocated. Intact, mature males can be difficult. Ringtail Rosie is another rescue from someone who did not know her potential. I sort of specialize in rehabilitating the underdogs - pun intended.

I have never put myself in the position of selling dogs.

Lots less people on the road and in the store then!

I think employees were shopping for customers that order online. All kinds of big carts in the aisles with totes on them. And it was very busy in there besides. I didn’t get everything on my list as I gave up in frustration.

Sour, maybe a "thunder shirt," would help him cope with storms. My sister had to get one for her animal shelter adoptee. It's kinda like swaddling a baby so their hand & legs movements don't frighten them.
