The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Man. That's so sad. Someone really dropped the ball on him early on. No way for him to feel secure enough to form a bond with anyone. :hit

Strange thing is that when the neighbors went on vacation he was boarded at the kennel where we had our dog groomed. They all loved him.

I would talk to the owner if the dog was leaving the property. I was meaning that an awful lot of people don't care that their dog barks all day, talking to them wouldn't go anywhere. People up the hill from us have a dog that barks a LOT. They just yell at it to shut up, if they are home. They are over 200 yards from us so it is just mildly annoying. It would be intolerable in the old neighborhood with houses 8'-10' apart.
When we got new neighbors Last winter we knew they had 2 little yappers with no off switches, cause we could hear them all day. When hubs told the guy we were getting some chickens he says " so, when can we expect to be woke up at the crack of dawn by your rooster? " !!! We dont have a frickin roo...but every day I listen to his yappers is one day closer to me having one.

Perhaps you could mention to him that your chickens are WAY quieter than his yappers. Maybe they should take them to a doggie daycare instead of leaving them home to yap all day.
They are home all day, at least he is: on disability and lazy as the day is long.
