afternoon everyone was up and gone when y'all got here so its afternoon for me so

I'd be honored. At one time (judgmental me) I thought he was a real dip/fruitcake, but just recently we saw the movie/documentary about him. He really was a cool guy/ did lots of good and really cared about kids.

Mr. Rogers was an awesome man, I loved him

My kids watched that show when they were little. I liked it.

I'd turn it on for my kids, they'd leave the room and I could watch in peace

Hope we never hear that he was very good to kids in the 'wrong way.' Hear enough about that with clergymen.

One of the things I liked about him!

One of my original neighbors wanted sons. His wife put out 5 daughters. His daughters all had sons. But before that happened HE was a magnet for all the young boys in the
area, later on my son also.

HE fixed their bikes, shot hoops with them, had rc car races with them, etc. etc. I kinda was worried about him but, I guess it was all kosher.

My son was terrible about getting up for school. He was always way late out the door. One day I watched from afar to see him miss the bus and then head for " The Man's "house. Man was already out there with his car.

You can imagine the look on my son's face when I walked over. I told the man in a nice way, that my son needed to learn responsibility instead of expecting everyone else to bail him out.

One day the man asked a favor - he needed someone to set up his computer, of course it was my son. Nothing bad here. But it took my son quite a bit of time and energy. Afterwards my son started getting to the bus on time. He learned "free rides," aren't always free.
