That makes sense!! Probably safer that way. I want like a room where they can free fly safely and not poop on everything but idk haha maybe I should get a bigger bird and let it watch TV with me. And awww that’s adorable!!

I want to get one of the big flight cages and have like 2-4 at a time. Supposedly they don’t bond to you as well or like at all when you have that many but I think they would be happier, especially if I put lots of toys in there. Idk. They are pretty to look at and listen to. Or maybe get 1 bird at a time so it bonds to me first then add friends rather than 2 or 4 at once. Idk.

I kind of want an aviary eventually. We have a perfect spot next to the garage, it’s huge, perfect for any sort of animal like rabbits, quail, more chickens, an aviary, a cat condo, etc. I have many ideas lol But I have always thought an aviary out there with parakeets and/or cockatiels would be really cool. I always love the aviaries at the zoos. But of course I would have to build some sort of heated box or something for them.
