Hope they weren't sterling silver dog show trophies.

Sprite won a batch of them & Dee at American Spaniel Club show in the 70's. My father wanted to move my bedroom dresser with shelves above it. He wouldn't let me take trophies down first. You can imagine, it dented some and broke the handles off a coffee service with creamer, sugar bowl & pot.

Years later when I was in the hospital my niece decided to polish some of the big stuff my mom kept in her living room cabinet with lights. Got home to find I had several pieces broken, handles off again etc. She wasn't a kid, what was she thinking? I should have thanked her for ruining them.

The only coffee service that was unharmed was the sterling silver set I gave my sister.

So,you are not on blood thinners are ya?

Sean I have tried sending you healing posts but, you ignore them. So I have gone higher up and just prayed for your healing. I don't think it matters that you aren't the same faith as I am. I believe there is only one G*D but, known by many names.

Despite everything, I have never wanted any harm to come to you. I only think about how compassionate, patient, kind and humorous you were in the beginning.Hope some day you will be restored. Shalom.

Sharron are you taking any blood thinners? That could cause the bleeding. Too much aspirin can cause it.

I almost died from it many years ago. Didn't realize different products I took also had aspirin in them.. Blood pressure dropped, veins collapsed, couldn't stand up without blacking out. Vomiting, etc had to crawl to toilet. Taken to hospital - my brother called "Hell's gate." and fully recovered despite his beliefs.

I have NEVER taken anything with aspirin again. Have only taken Tylenol cautiously, doesn't work as well as aspirin and it can cause kidney failure. Gee is there some good med that doesn't have a bunch of caveats attached to it?

Be very careful folks, almost everything "out there," wants to kill us.

Morning Debby, have a fun 1st day back or par for the course! :lau hurts me just reading about you going to the dentist.:hugs

But at least her tongue won’t keep getting cut up! :p

Ouch, on the water bill, Bob...hope it doesn't 'hit the pocket' too bad this time around. :(

I’m with Sean! Water problems are bad enough - the financial and cleanup aftermath shouldn’t be more miserable!

No, I haven't been to PT since December, insurance wouldn't pay for anymore, so I've just been doing my own PT, the only thing I can't do that they were helping me with is lower leg lifts with ankle weights...I don't have any ankle weights.
I can almost walk again, with a pretty noticable limp but hoping in about two weeks I will be off the cain or crutch. I just 'tested' it out awhile ago, I can walk without a prop but I don't want to screw something up and have to prolong the healing process.
It's still not quite right with my knee, the hip isn't giving me any problems.

Don’t be pushing it, my friend. You’re on the mend now!

GM, friends. Off to Rural King today if i can keep my eyes open! Coughing a lot last night.

Still coughing, or again coughing?

Yeah, you have to dust those things. Hubby threw out my dog show trophies when we moved to FL from NS.

All of the dog shows I did and win, I never once got a trophy - just ribbons! :hit I’m jealous! (And yes, I still have them all)

Cut back on greens until you find out for sure what’s happening! I’m serious! We almost lost Ken’s best friend after he had a colonoscopy. Despite Jim stopping his blood thinners and aspirin, he had a major bleed out and was barely alive when the ambulance came. After it was all over, and he was able to be back on his meds, he was told in no uncertain terms to avoid leafy greens to reduce bleeding or some such thing.
