for a breeder dog, she sure loves to travel, when stopping at rest area's, she was so into watching people and everything going on that she wouldn't do her "job" but when back into the truck, she slept and didn't give us any trouble, bud on the other hand would yip every hour or so , wanted to stop so he could "claim new territory" he was "dry" but still tried to claim lol

the almonds are the only thing that might be healthy for you, look at what they put on them and as for the rest, bet every thing has sugar, i don't know why they put extra sugar on or in things, i guess to get us hooked on them, not only sugar but also corn syrup and sometimes they also add dextrose too, i try to stay away from all the high carbs too if i can, trying to get healthy myself, carbs and sugar are things i try to stay away from. ok, sermon over lol

I didn’t realize it would have sugar even if it doesn’t say it but I guess that makes sense. Just figured popcorn wouldn’t have much. But yeah, I try to stay away from the really bad kinds like that and the really processed stuff, that’s part of why I thought these were maybe healthier, I think it’s cane sugar or some other actual kind instead of the super processed stuff but I guess it all digests the same... but I’ve been trying to stay away from sugar and stuff too and the popcorn and almonds I don’t think have any or if they do, it’s minimal, but even if they do, I figure a little bit of popcorn is better than the alternative. Which for me would be like candy, chips, cookies, super sugary/processed snacks, etc. I am a snacker and tend to more graze rather than eat many real meals and I HAVE to snack while watching TV, working on all of that so I do it less/don’t have to, but until then, I have to eat something so I figure it might as well be a little popcorn or nuts rather than sugar. Although I guess I could always snack on vegetables too... I should probably try that. But if I cut out all processed stuff all at once I would go crazy lol although I guess it kind of defeats the purpose of buying the good snacks if I only wanna eat the bad ones or eat it all at once.... ate all those rollers the first night and since then keep grabbing a pack of the kettle corn instead of the plain popcorn. :oops:

But I gotta work on it. Haven’t been going to Subway much lately, was daily for a bit, even fairly recently, but now I’ve been trying to avoid dairy and the huge amounts of bread you get there. But I still haven’t really eaten healthy and haven’t cooked myself anything so I just end up eating, well, I don’t really know. Whatever is fastest and easiest which isn’t always the best. Last night I went to Wendy’s because I was mad and out driving around for a few hours (also bad) and I hadn’t eaten yet and by then it was like 9:30, 10:00, so nothing was open (although I had been driving around so long, I could have gone to Subway or somewhere before they closed but I was trying to avoid subs... yeah... well... would’ve been better than Wendy’s... but at the time Wendy’s wasn’t even an option or thought that occurred to me), and I was starving so I went. Yeah, well I’m paying the price this morning. Woke up around 5 with stomach pain, got up, couldn’t go, laid down, back again, still nothing, finally went down and got some prune juice thinking it would help or at least get it moving. Well it actually made it worse at first, just seemed to cause/create way more gas pain, and it got pretty bad, but I tried to lay back down anyway. Anyway, long story short, without being tmi, though I probably am already, it finally kicked in and I was finally able to go and the pain seems to have gone away since but I haven’t eaten fast food in so long I forgot what it does to me and why I stopped eating it in the first place. Although I think the burger might have been fine but I think they do something to the nuggets. Maybe it’s cause they’re fried or more chemicals or salt or something cause it kind of hurt my head a tad too. Anyway, going to try to go back to sleep. Been up a long time now but hopefully I can.

But I’d like to start eating healthier, more vegetables and fruits and lean meats and such, and I think I might also start taking some probiotics or vitamins and collagen powder or something. I think my gut is in pretty terrible shape too.

i love a good heavy buttered popcorn but thats another thing i gave up, popcorn is corn and when i eat it my sugar goes up into the 200's, not a good thing,bread is another thing that makes it goes up, sometimes if i get crazy and eat potatoes, flour products my blood sugar can go up into the 300's, trying to get my a1c normal so i can maybe get off meds, trying, but hard with a husband that loves his junk food and eats it in front of me all the time:rolleyes: trying to get him on the band wagon and sometimes he tries but he won't keep it up, maybe one day:fl
well, have to go to the store today and pick up meat and veggies for this week so will be back later today

If it isn't in the ingredient list, there isn't any added. You still check the RDAs since there is natural sugar in some foods.

More boring but you could try adding carrots and celery to your snacks.

Thunderstorms and a real cool electrical display going on this morning. So far, no severe storms. Although, the lighting's pretty close, just hit a tree by one of my pens. It just keeps coming in waves. Started about 5:30 am.

No, I just took off from greets for a couple of days. Had a lot of work to do and needed to concentrate.

I get it.

I'll be missing some of them due to work, some I'll catch up on and some I won't. Sometimes life does get in the way :confused:

Hope you're done with work for now and can enjoy the weekend.

It's the busy time of year. I, too, am derelict on greeting.
