The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Good morning everyone!

Cynthia, love the dog photos and stories :D

Sharron, have fun playing in the dirt today!

Bob, that's a great growth rate. I've always heard Burpees had a good reputation for their things.

I'm not sure what our weather is going to do today. It's kind of a sleety-rain mix right now. Regardless, DH told me to take the day off as we still don't have water down at the course (once we do, I'm going to be working a LOT getting the restaurant offerings ready). Yay, a day off...I might actually get some laundry done!
Enjoy your day off Debby!
I hope DMC will be ok.
Thanks Debby and Bob! Me too!! I’ve already cancelled my cleaning jobs tomorrow. Hubby is thinking this storm may finally take down the barn so my outdoor cats will be locked in the chicken coop “just in case”.
Morning folks :frow

Sharron I have to thin my seedlings on Sunday. For the first time ever, I have a 100% growth rate. I decided to go with burpee and bought the seed, the starter kits etc all from them. Now that this storm has passed, I hope to get the garden cleaned out and get peas, lettuce and spinach planted.
I hope you have a productive Sunday Bob.
morning everyone:frow
going to try to start some seeds in the greenhouse today, as soon as it gets daylight, then maybe as soon as it gets warmer can set out in the garden
Hi Sharron, have fun!

Good morning all! Absolutely stunning sunrise this morning. I never get sick of seeing them . I wish I could capture it’s true colors.

some of my seeds i bought from territorial seeds, i like them alot, been buying from them for about four years now, some are local, agway and some are originally from ebay sellers that i've kept seeds in the fall when season is over, (mostly tomatoes) so far everything is doing good, i want to start more tomatoes, already have lettuce big enough to eat, will put some more into the garden direct sow, i want to start cucumbers and some flowers, and also peppers, but most everything else(beans, beets etc) will be direct sow too
who knows, i do tend to go crazy when planting seeds, want to try different things and i do tend to plant to many seeds, and i hate to waste a plant lol and its just husband and myself, son's wife prefers to buy frozen from sams club:idunno
