The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

hi everyone:frow
went to the auction today, since we were taking some stuff we left around 5:30, its about an hour away and people start lining up early in order to get their stuff in, they only take 200 items(and some people are hogs and bring in a lot of junk, sorry piggy) so needless to say we were up at four to have coffee and wake up some before we left, loaded last night.
its been a cold day for us, most of the day it was only 36* and you know its been a lot warmer for us, anyway it did spit snow too. so tonight is a early night with a nice warm shower:D

Whew, I'm home and tired. Shouldn't be a problem falling asleep tonight (although getting up in the morning may be a problem  ).

It's been raining all day, temps in the low 40's and people were actually golfing. Crazy die hards! :p
Glad you survived your first day back:hugs

:lau honestly probably accurate!! I even Googled if you could take them together :lau  Btw I decided to go with the Excedrin and eye drops for now. I really wish I knew why my eyes keep getting irritated though. It’s getting annoying lol I guess maybe I have allergies??
Go to the doctor maybe??

Go to the doctor maybe??

Yeah, I’m thinking of trying that but then sometimes it’s fine so I never know. But I also tend to “wash” my eyes a lot i.e. rinse them out under a faucet so I think that is contributing so I think I need to stop doing that. But I do plan on going to both the regular doctor and an eye doctor because my eyelashes also keep getting in my eye and my grandpa has a similar thing so I’d like to deal with that and the irritation. Plus I haven’t had my eyes examined in a loooonggggg time if at all so I need to have that done. So I will probably go eventually. But it hasn’t really been too bad yet, just annoying. But it’s starting to sometimes cause headaches from the irritation so I will probably make an appointment soon.

I've wanted cassowaries but they are extremely expensive and dangerous birds. I think they are stunning birds though.
So are you pheasants. I think you should stick with the smaller birds ;)

It's our golf course opening day...it's raining, the credit card machine doesn't work and we still don't have potable water so yeah, a "normal" opening day! :gig
What do you mean no potable water. Don't you have any big pots in the kitchen? Put them out to catch the rain!

I had Emu's back in the heyday of raising them in the 80's...when everybody and their dog wanted them...I wasn't that impressed with them and sold them for a ton of money, soon after that the market went south on Emus.

Okay, thanks.

Idk, I couldn’t decide and to me there are a lot of good ones lol although granted, I probably could have excluded the playing/running ones and some of the worse ones
Just saying, you could learn to edit posts and boil it down to essentials. Would make more interesting reading.
