Surprisingly none!! I was very very close though lol super tempting but we just don’t have the room for more with these new ones coming

I may have to make a separate coop or something though haha but they also have a 6 chick minimum here which is annoying and very limiting but maybe they would waive it since they’re all on sale... I may check the other TSC and see if they have an ISA Browns... or come back and get those SLWs.... I have always wanted some.... or make a bantam coop....

Why did you get both medicated and non medicated feed?

I think that is a good 10 months beyond what is possible. Unless he was just drinking his calories and that would be cheating.

Because I couldn’t decide and was standing in the aisle like 20 or 30 minutes trying to decide between medicated or non medicated, organic, non GMO, Nutrena or Purina or random other brand, etc. etc. and finally decided to just get one of each, a little bag of medicated and a big bag of non medicated. Figured I’d just start them on the medicated feed then switch them to the non medicated when I ran out. Figured it wouldn’t hurt to have the medicated briefly. I think the one I fed last time wasn’t medicated but I’ve heard good arguments for both and was at a loss. Plus that one was all really old feed so I decided to go with Purina. Although some of the Purina ones were old too but they at least had fresh ones. But yeah. Couldn’t decide and didn’t want to stand there any longer so I just compromised and went with both.

Yeah I thought you died after like a week without food? And 3 days without water?? At least I thought I read that somewhere a while ago.

But I haven’t opened any of them yet, they’re still in the car, and the chicks don’t get here until probably Tuesday, so I could return one. I just figured for now I’d get both. But the whole medicated versus not thing has me all conflicted hah

From what I read before I posted, 60 days is about max. Not that you haven't done irreversible damage well before then.
